About Time We Hit the Studio..
หลังจากที่พวกเราได้เล่นดนตรีร่วมกันมาเป็นเวลานานในชื่อวง Jukes พวกเรารู้สึกว่าตอนนี้น่าจะเป็นช่วงเวลาที่เหมาะสมสำหรับการเดินไปข้างหน้าอีกก้าวหนึ่งด้วยการทำดนตรีของพวกเราเอง
ภายใต้ชื่อวง Jukes นั้นเป็นที่รู้กันว่าเรารักและเลือกที่จะเล่นดนตรีในแบบ Traditional Blues เป็นหลักมาตลอด ถึงแม้มันจะไม่ใช่เรื่องง่ายในการที่จะเลือกทำแนวดนตรีที่ไม่เป็นที่คุ้นเคยสำหรับผู้ฟังหมู่มากในยุคปัจจุบัน แต่จากประสบการณ์ที่ผ่านมากจากการเล่นในผับ, บาร์ และสถานที่ต่างๆนั้นเราก็ได้พบปะผู้ฟังและเพื่อนใหม่ๆมากมายที่ทำให้เราเชื่อมั่นว่าดนตรี Blues นั้นก็จะมีทางไปของมันอยู่เสมอ ขอเพียงแค่เรารักและจริงใจในแนวเพลงที่เราทำ สำหรับโปรเจคท์นี้ในชื่อ Daddy C & Bangkok Mojo กับสมาชิก line up ล่าสุดของวง เราหวังว่าในเร็วๆนี้จะได้มีผลงานบลูส์ของพวกเราเองที่จะออกมาทั้งในภาษาไทย, อังกฤษ และแม้แต่ภาษาใต้ซึ่งเป็นภาษาถิ่นของนักร้องนำของเราให้ทุกคนได้ฟัง เป็นอีกทางเลือกหนึ่งของวงการบลูส์ของไทยครับ
After playing together for sometimes at various clubs/life music venues all over Bangkok under the name “Jukes” we feel that it’s about time we hit the studio and make our own music.
Traditional Blues & Roots music is what we love and always wanted to do but to keep this wonderful musical tradition alive in this fast spinning world is not the easiest task. However, from our experience playing in clubs & bars night after night over the years we’ve met a lot of like-minded audiences out there that give us confidence that there’ll always be a place for the Blues. Now with the latest line up and the new name for our studio project “Daddy C & Bangkok Mojo” we’re ready to deliver some tasty Blues that’ll come in English, Thai and even Southern dialect!
