Frank’s musical journey started at birth, coming from a family of musicians on Penang Island. In the 1960s, he brought his talent to Bangkok, where he played for GIs during the Vietnam War in the infamous Patpong area. In the 80s, Frank and Awe tied the knot and began performing together, spending six years in India before returning to Bangkok. Over the years, they have graced more than 60 venues in the city.

Their performances are a nostalgic trip through various eras, guided by thick, handwritten songbooks—a rare sight these days. Between songs, they engage with the audience, sharing music trivia and stories from Bangkok’s recent history. They are open to requests if they know the tune and are always ready to entertain with laughter and emotion.

Supergoods is a dynamic and electrifying band renowned for their soul-stirring performances of funk, soul, and disco music. The band never fails to get the crowd moving and grooving to the infectious beats of their music, fronted by the singer May  with her soulful voice, brothers – Arm on drums and Earth on guitar, and funky bassist Bell. They will teleport you to those funky disco soul times with their repertoire includes soulful classics, funky grooves, and dance floor-hits, like Le Freak and Bad Girls. As they have quite a following  you might also have an opportunity to hear some of their originals from their first EP named “Supergoods” released in 2019. We are sure you will become their biggest fan the first time you experience our Soulful Thursdays!

Sararn Quartet is one of the most electryfing bands in Bangkok, owing to the powerful voice of Sararnrat  Chooamnart aka Kang, and the band leader Buddy Meesaiyaat’s amazing guitar skills. As he comes from the famous Brown Sugar Jazz Boutique family, Buddy has been tied to music his whole life, and nowadays it can be said that he is one of the best jazz guitarists in Thailand. The rest of the band switches depending on the availability of the members, but they are all fantastic musicians that add to the band’s powerful sound. They will definitely surprise you with their repertoire as it spans from Amy Winehouse and Cyndi Lauper to Jon Bon Jovi and The Beatles. One thing is guaranteed, you will be blown away!

Born from the roots of the original Daddy C & Bangkok Mojo band, Lil’ Moss & The Bonetone ft. Jass bring raw, high-energy Chicago blues to the Bangkok Mojo stage every Saturday night.

Fronted by Moss on vocals and guitar, and featuring the powerhouse voice of Jass, the band delivers a soulful, gritty sound that’s steeped in tradition but full of fire. You’ll also catch them performing at some of Bangkok’s most respected live music institutions, including Adhere the 13th Blues Bar, Brown Sugar, and Saxophone Pub.

One of Bangkok Mojo’s main goals is to create a community and support young musicians by giving them a chance to perform and hone their skills. AFK Trio ft. Poppy are the new generation of jazz musicians that have chosen Bangkok Mojo as their home where they can truly express themselves while providing a supreme musical experience for our patrons. As students of Silpakorn University’s Faculty of Music, they represent the future of Bangkok’s live music scene, and many of their colleagues come to these jazzy Sunday nights to jam, making the evening always exciting and unpredictable.
